New CMT Crossroads Bar Opens At Casino In Louisiana
A new country bar has hit the town of Bossier City, Louisiana. The CMT Crossroads Bar has opened at the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel in the state.
The bar opened with a bang as country music star Sara Evans played on the first night. The CMT performance show Crossroads was the inspiration for the new bar.
"The most exciting thing for us with the CMT Crossroads Lounge at Horseshoe is the fact that our consumers and Horseshoe consumers will be able to touch the CMT brand," said Lori Megown, CMT's Vice President of Consumer Products and Radio.
The venue cost much money to build, $3.3 million. It has Crossroads memorabilia inside and has the feel of a real country atmosphere.
A roadhouse bar is the theme that is portrayed throughout the establishment. Rusted metal and wood are main themes that are followed throughout the bar.
The bar is equipped with a circular bar, a dance floor, and a stage, which is where Evans performed on Thursday night.
