College Football Picks: Oregon Or Oklahoma State, Tough Call
The college football bowl season is getting down to the games that have teams involved that thought they were BCS caliber. That is the case tonight in the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl.
Oklahoma State spent almost the entire season in position to play in a BCS game. Oregon was hoping they would be the team that could wrestle the Pac Ten title away from USC.
Both teams were misguided. The Cowboys faded down the stretch with a horrendous loss to Oklahoma, and Oregon never quite reached the potential that some experts believed they had.
Tonight they will face each other and if the odds put out by the sportsbooks
are an indication, these two teams are extremely evenly matched. Oklahoma State is favored in the game by a slim one point. What makes that interesting is the total for the game.
The game is expected to produce upwards of seventy points. The exact total from the odds makers is seventy five and a half. Two teams that predicted to put up over ten touchdowns between them, are also predicted to be within one point of each other when it is over.
